Ganga is Life, Stop Killing Ganga.

Ganga people is a people’s collective of concerned Ganga Bhakts without any affiliation with anything except AVIRAL NIRMAL “GANGA”. The bhakts look to a meaningful action that frees Ganga from every impediment in its aviral nirmal flow especially the so called “DEVELOPERS” or “PROTECTORS” and the ever exploding population being made dependent on Ganga.

A greedy self serving approach is at the root of the peril of Ganga. Everyone, especially the political parties, their corporate and the government, need to give up their enlightened self interest. Her bhakts that worship of Ganga should not be inspired by greed.

We believe Ganga over the centuries is a source of medicinal drinking water, irrigation, fertilisation sediment and fisheries for the world for human and other life forms. A source of life for people and others dependant on it, Ganga remained safe for centuries in the hands of its people.

Cometh the political governments of East India Company and later our own in independent India all hell has let loose on Ganga. Today Ganga is in peril. Its tributaries destroyed Ganga too is being put to sleep by its so called ‘Developers’ and ‘Protectors’ who invidiously refuse to relent.

Referring to Ganga as a mother and watching Her being devoured heartlessly is counter productive and is destroying Her as also the cultural essence and ethos of hinduism. We believe the malaise rests in the government treating Ganga as a mere resource and handing it over to favourably disposed companies who blatantly devour Ganga.

The mad race for extracting a part of Ganga for respective interest groups and to stop others from following suit demanding rational manner for prolonging its life span must end or be stopped.
